There will be a week or so when we will not be able to ship pots promptly during the time immediately following Janel’s shoulder replacement surgery in mid-December. When Will is again able to spend time in the studio, he will attend to the packing and shipping of your purchases, though shipping during the week prior to the Christmas week might not see timely deliveries. Janel will be out of the studio for several weeks, and will be looking forward to returning to work some time in the late winter or before.

Janel Jacobson moved to Sunrise, Minnesota in March of 1975 at the age of 24 years. She has lived here now for 50 years. Will Swanson, husband, has lived here for 40 years. Many of the pots made this year will have the commemorative stamp on the pot bottoms.

GENERATIONS : A selection of pieces that Janel saved as archives for many years are posted for purchase in the Generations Shop.

Sunrise MN Pottery is the studio website and online sales shop for potters Will Swanson and Janel Jacobson. We have lived and worked in the small rural town of Sunrise, Minnesota since 1975.
